It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Sue Morefield York in Norton, Virginia, born in Dante, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harding Morefield and Mable Couch Morefield. She is survived by: her husband James N. York; her daughter Cindy Elizabeth York of St. Paul, Virginia; and her siblings, Teresa Rasnick (G. C.) of Dante, Virginia, Mike Morefield (Teri) of Bristol, Larry "Tub" Morefield (Diana) of Dante and Jeff Morefield (Amy) of Nickelsville, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
