He is survived by: his children, Tina Fields Balthis (Scotty) of Florence, Holly Fields Absher (Clay) of Norton, VA, Hope Stevenson (Ricky) of Wise and John Fields, Sr. of Norton, VA; his grandchildren, Danielle Amos, Robbie Amos, Kelsey Futch, Tiara Smith, John Fields, Jr., Kaine Laney, Destiny Foster (Andrew), Abigail Fields, Miracle Fields and Raven Vanover; his great grandchildren, Isaih Brock, Elijah Brock, Briella Freeman, Amara Freeman, Shayleigh Merritt, Paisley Page, Ezra Page, Lauren Foster, Raelynn Foster and Prestynn Foster; and his siblings, Fred Fields (Barbara) of Castlewood, Shon Fields (Carla) of Sevierville, Joe Fields (Darlene) of Abingdon, Dan Fields (Karen), Lavelle Collins of Ohio and Dawn Sanders (Sam) of Norton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lost Creek Ministries (420 Lost Creek Dr SW, Norton, VA 24273). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
