He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Nichols Sr. and Leona Nichols; and his sister Billie Sue Nichols (Johnny Nichols). He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Pierce (Mike), Amanda Nichols and Leslie Nichols; his grandchildren, Braden, Gavin, Leighton Pierce, Cami Russell, Gabe Nichols, Kira Sturgill, Kyli-Jo Honeycutt and Izzy Watts; and his brother David Nichols. He is also survived by his family and friends.
