She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Nelson Tate and Robbie Goode Tate; and her brother Michael Nelson Tate. She is survived by: her sister Carol Tate Bryant (Don) of Virginia Beach; her niece Hannah Grace Tate (Chuck Rugar) of Norton; her nephews, Nelson Stewart Tate (Megan Call) of Norton, Ian Michael Tate of Norton and Miles Andrew Tate of Norfolk; her great-nephew Michael Cliff Rugar; and her great-niece Addilyn Brooke Tate.
