She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley Herron and Rosie Belle Caudill Herron; her husband Wilson "Doc" Burton; her children, Terry Burton, Gregory Burton, Timothy Burton, Nancy Knudsen and Shelia Burton; and her siblings, Junior Ray Herron, Harvey Herron, Clyde Herron, Paul Herron, Anne Gilliam and Donald (Donna Herron).
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Stallard (Doug) of Wise, Robert Jeff Burton (Betty) of Coeburn, Janice Mickles of Appalachia, Brian Burton (Helen) and Robin Hubbard (Wesley) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Tina Balthis and Billy Tootill; her sisters, Ruby Ellen Clark of Wise, Margie Wyatt of Norton and Sue Hopkins of Wise; and her extended family, Charles Hubbard, Randy Collins and Pat Collins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
