She is survived by: her daughters, Joana Gardner (Larry) of Norton and Samantha McAmis Delp (Gerald Delp); her grandchildren, Stephanie Shepard (Michael) of Abingdon, Jonathan Levi Wesley Delp of Norton and Sarah Delp Stidham (Daniel) of Wise; her great grandchildren, Holly Grace Stidham and Sawyer Dean Stidham; and her siblings, Donald Glenn "Sonny" Bates of Greensboro, NC, William Bates of Boston, MA and Shirley Bates Cleary of Beckley, W. VA.
