He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Darnell; his grandparents, Eugene, Rosie Wampler, Wrighley and Juanita Darnell; and his uncle W. C. Darnell.

He is survived by: his mother Brenda Darnell of Norton, VA.; and his children, Jastanie Lida Darnell and Isabella Rose Darnell.
