It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Lynn Absher of Norton, Virginia, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Absher and Della Absher (Greear); his wife Kathy Absher; and his siblings, Ray, Jerry, Danny Absher, Anna Ruth Cowden and Betty White.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Absher (Denna) and Cindy Peters (Adam); his great grandchildren, Charlee Dotson, Cooper Dotson and Indie Jenkins; his siblings, Gene Absher (Shirley), Melvin Absher (Delores), Loretta McCullough, Barbara Gilley, Sherry Jones (Dee Dee) and Tammy Wells; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Absher and Brenda Absher. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of many many friends.
