With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte A. McCoy in Norton, Virginia, born in Maynardville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 17, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamer Koontz and Josie Philips Koontz; and her sister Lela Nicely. She is survived by: her close friend Diana; her husband Curtis McCoy; her children, Sherri Wood (Dale) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Dennis McCoy (Sue Ellen Couch) and Matthew McCoy of St. Paul, Virginia; her grandchildren, Charlotte Wood, Cameron Wood and Alexis McCoy; and her stepgrandsons, Brandon Wood (Nicola) of Newton Alabama and Joshua Wood (Veronica) of Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by five step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
