He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gardner and Maggie Cassidy Gardner; and his siblings, Margalo Clayton, Betty Jo Gardner, Patsy Cain, Willie Cassidy, Harold Cassidy, Burlain Gardner and Delmer Ray Gardner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Hansel of Prosperity, SC and Fred Gardner (Patsy) of Mt. Carmel, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
