He was predeceased by: his father Ray Absher. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Absher of Norton; his children, Courtney Sexton (Zack Roberts) of Norton, Zachary Sexton (Nicole) of Norton, Cameron Absher of Wise, Elizabeth Absher of Norton and Allison Cutshall (Phillip) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Carly Lintz, Brianna Bullard, Paxton Sexton, Gabriel Sexton, Autumn Sexton, Roman Sexton and Lilly Absher; his mother Wanda Mullins of Norton; his siblings, Mike Lintz of Norton, Tina Sifford (Jeff) of St. Paul, Celeste Hash (Jarrod) of Norton and Connie Hessong (Buck) of Jacksonville, Fla.; his sister-in-law Lesa Salyers (Stacy) of Norton; his mother-in-law Phyllis Owens; and also, Mike, Jimmy and Doug. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home (956 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA 24273-1821). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Laurel Grove Cemetery (4805 Kentucky Ave SE, Norton, VA 24273).
