She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Paul Flanary and Elizabeth Kate Cox Flanary; her husband Don Farmer; and her brother Jim Flanary. She is survived by: her children, Donna Hutchinson (Butch) of Norton, Deanna Jarman (Tony) of Cincinnati, Sam Farmer (Cindi) of Norton and Steve Farmer (Cathy) of Norton; her grandchildren, Greg Hutchinson, Elora Hutchinson, Jayda Hutchinson, April Jarman, Cory Harris, Ashley Farmer, Hunter Farmer and Andrew Farmer; her sisters, Betty Salyer (Myron) of Nickelsville and Margaret Meade of Nickelsville; her sister-in-law Barbara Flanary of Kingsport; and her brothers, John Flanary (Jayne) of Roanoke and Chuck Flanary (Reba) of Kingsport. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
