It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belva Roberson Bolling of Norton, Virginia, born in Pound, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her parents, Heber Roberson and Ida Roberson; her siblings, Bernice Roberson Gentry and James C. Roberson; her sister-in-law Frances Roberson; her parents-in-law, Elbert and Orpha Bolling; her brothers-in-law, Guy, Euel, Roy, Chester Bolling and Earl Gentry; and her nephews, Richard Gentry Jr. and Daniel Hart.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Carr (John) of Fernandina Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Ashley Carr Vitale (Charles) of Atlanta, GA and John Patrick Carr (JP); her great grandchildren, Naya, Elijah Vitale, Patrick and Annie Carr; her daughter Karen Miller (Gary) of Danville, VA; her grandchildren, Lauren Rose (David) of Collierville, TN, Allison Miller (Dylan) of Washington, D. C. and Kevin Miller (Sarah); her great grandchild Matthew Miller of Charlottesville, VA; her siblings, Lakie Roberson Hart (Richard) of St. Louis, MO and John Harold Roberson (Barbara) of Pulaski, VA; her siblings-in-law, Martha Bolling of Greensboro, NC and Clayton Bolling (Helen) of Chattanooga, TN; her nieces and nephews, Carla Gail D'Alasandro, Edwin Hart, Kelly Vass, John Porter Roberson, Shannon Roberson, Mike Bolling, Deborah Rock, Norman Bolling, Bob Bolling, Chet Bolling, Ann Forney, Tom Bolling, Alexander Bolling, Russell Bolling, Pam Thacker and Cliff Roberson of Paris; her aunt Woisie; her nieces, Amy Roberson Spence and Lisa Roberson (Yvonne Brunell); and her aunt Lois. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Because of the COVID19 pandemic, the family requests friends and family to respect the safety guidelines while offering condolences to the family.
