She was predeceased by: her parents, John William "Bill" Darnell and Virginia Ruth Brummitt Darnell; her former husband Gene Flanary; her husband Jim Price; and her brothers, Sid Darnell and Billy Darnell.
She is survived by: her children, Joanna Hensley of Wise, Norma Hayes (Tommy) of Wise, Mike Flanary (Pam) of Wise and Greg Price of Blountville; her grandchildren, Thomas Hayes, Courtney Bowen and Allison Dubose; and her great grandchildren, Dominik Bowen, Kyli Bowen and Kane Dubose.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home (956 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA 24273-1821). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
