Abel R. Wright Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Abel R. Wright (Norton, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Abel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Abel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Jean Wright; his daughter Tammy Lynn Wright; his parents, William Wright and Callie Wright; and his sisters, Ava Lou and Brenda Faye.
He is survived by: his children, Ewing Barton Wright (Barbe) and Lareina Jessee; and his granddaughter Kate Ochess. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Laurel Grove Cemetery (4812-4850 VA-74, Norton, VA 24273).
