She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon Eddie Junius and Eliza Short Peterson; her siblings, John Peterson, Julia Thomas and Pattie Peterson; and her nephew Michael Peterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaShaunda Jones and Sandria Lherisse (Shawn); her grandchildren, Keyona Jones and Da Sean Anderson; her goddaughter Andrita Williams; her siblings, Eddie Peterson (Nancy), Elder Emmette Peterson, Lucille Goodwyn (Herbert), Ora Peterson and Delores Cain (Harry); her nieces and nephews, Terice Mason, Alan Peter, Darinda Bryan (Tony), Eddie Peterson III, Jamia Cain and Katrice Cain; and her friends, Sandra Chandler, Garlene Wilson, Thelma Lee, Renita Johnson and Roger Johnson. She is also survived by cousins, special family and friends.
