He was predeceased by: his brother Clarence Edward Smith Sr. (Eddie). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hughes Smith; his daughters, Conchita Smith-Rustin (Rodney), Monique Smith (Leonard) and Carla; his grandchildren, Carlos, Clifford Jr. (JR), Christopher, Christian and Raegan; and his siblings, Jacob Smith (Jake) and Margie Smith Miller. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
