With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Helen Kelly (North, Virginia), who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole A. Tufto and Emma Tufto (Luth); and her siblings, Edmund Tufto, Darrell Tufto, Carol Ann Tufto and Dorothy Dahl.

She is survived by: her husband James E. Kelly; her children, Jeanine Reynolds (Jeff), Doreen Johnston (Andrew), Steven Kelly and David Kelly (Sheri); her grandchildren, Jake Kelly, Hunter (Emily), Brianna Reynolds, Amanda (John), Jessica and Alyssa Kelly; and her brothers, Leighton Tufto and Gerald Tufto (Judy).

I rode with her in the Loudon Volunteer Caregivers’ van twice a week, and she was such a treasure! No matter how she felt, she always had a smile and a wonderful story to share. I can tell you that she loved her family with her entire being. She shared stories about each of you, and loved how you all helped her in her time of need. You are in my prayers. Izzy”
