She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Foster and Pearle Soles Foster; her husband Upsher C. "Buster" Rainier; her brother Justus Foster; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin Rainier, Golden Dutton, Beulah Sadler, Ruth Robins, Lydia Rowe, Marilyn Morgan, Joyce Downs, Janice South and Audrey Mitchem.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene R. Small (Billy) and Renee R. Mahone (George); her grandsons, William Small, Jr. (Tara), J. Craig Small (Katherine), George C. "Trey" Mahone, III and Russell U. Mahone; her great grandchildren, Sarah Beth, Joice R., Soles, Alex and Kate F. Small; and her cousins, Rose Soles Hudgins, Phyllis Buchanan and Charlotte Vana. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family, church family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring Hill Baptist Church (1676 Buckley Hall Rd, Cobbs Creek, VA 23035). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
