Shands, Sr.; his daughter Destiny; his wife L'Tanya Walker Shands; his children, Waneka, Kayla and Ke'von; his stepson Devyn Marshall; his grandchildren, Skylar, Jveon, Jayelynn and Gio; his sibling LaSandra "Nay" Batts; his nephew Quinton Batts; his mother-in-law Juanita Walker; his sisters-in-law, Antoinette "Puddin" Smith and Marquette Coles; his aunts and uncles, Wesley Shands (Joan), George Ridley, Jr. (Mable), John Ridley (Jean), Inez Lyons Minister Annette (Daniel), Teressa Martin (Ronald) and Vanessa Johnson (Shelton); his great-uncle Vernard Williams; his great-aunt Annie Mae Williams; and his close friends, Russell Satterwhite and Maurice. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
