He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Butts Pond and Willie Irene Pond (Roberts); the mother of his children Katherine Roberts Pond; and his brothers, Ronald Lee Pond and Selwyn Adrian Pond.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Jacqueline "Jackie" Pond; his sons, David Bryan Pond, Steven Patrick Pond (Lisa) and Douglas Brandon Pond (Julie); and his grandchildren, Caroline Anne Pond, Kailyn Kendall Pond and Brandon William Pond.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heights Baptist Church (17201 US-1, South Chesterfield, VA 23834). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to The Heights Baptist Church (Attn: LOVE804 missions) or The American Heart Association.
