It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Louise Lane of North, Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Louise Lane to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hallie Chavis and Josephine Thomas; and her siblings, Dr. Maxine Thomas Highsmith, James Thomas of Raleigh and Frank Thomas of Raleigh.
She is survived by: her husband Eddie H. Lane; her children, Ayanna L. Richardson and Diallo N. Lane; her son-in-law Shawn R. Richardson; her grandchildren, Madison Richardson, Donovan Richardson and Solomon Lane; her sisters, Alice J. Peebles and Lottie; and her brothers-in-law, Milton Jones and James Highsmith of Raleigh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
In order to protect the vulnerable and high-risk members of the community, it is highly recommended that face masks be worn.
