She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Dawkins and Ruth Ann Dawkins; and her siblings, Winifred, Edgar, Robert, William, Alvin, Freda and Bruce.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Partridge (Raymond) and Valerie O'Connor-Makatini; her grandchildren, Rasean Partridge and Nandi Makatini; and her great grandchild Zindzi Makatini. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
