He is survived by: his wife Irene Bucklen of North Tazewell, VA; his children, Michael Wayne Bucklen (Sylvia) of Kingsport, TN, Linda S. Lambert (Alderson) of North Tazewell, VA and Elizabeth Cornwell (Robert "Squirrel") of Thompson Valley, VA; and his brother Donald Bucklen.
