It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Carr Johnston Bowling II of North Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel "Carr" Bowling and Lorena Hankins Bowling; his stepdaughter Tammy Diana Lipps; and his brothers, Robert "Bob" and Thomas "Tom" Bowling.

He is survived by: his wife Janice "Jan" Bowling; his children, Daniel Bowling III (Beth) of Beaver, WV, William Chris Matney of Cedar Bluff, VA, Louetta Esponisa of Richlands, VA and Danita Bowling of Tazewell, VA; and his brother Othel Donald Bowling of Onley, VA.. He is also survived by Four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
