Cress Sr. of North Garden, Virginia, born in Atkins, Virginia, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Thomas Cress and Hallie Suthard Cress; his wife Betty Naff Cress; and his son Walter Thomas Cress. He is survived by: his children, Kim Cress Lancaster (Paul) of Bedford County, Roy Lee Cress, Jr. (Wendi) of Charlottesville and Janella Johnson of Orlando; his grandchildren, Jason Lancaster (Hillary), Alyson Lancaster Childrey (Paul), Will Cress, Austin Cress, Jeff Wood (Sherry), Ryan Wood (Nancy) and Jerry Gray; and his brother Roger Cress of Marion. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren.
