She is survived by: her son Michael Ray Byers (Thelma) of Greene County, VA; her sister Lena S. Terrell of Charlottesville, VA.; and her grandchildren, Michael Jr., Natasha, Nathan, Antonio, Alan, Condu, David "Tweety" L. Byers and Christine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
