She was predeceased by: her parent Russell Rainey; her spouse Samuel Jackson Hudson; her son Samuel Jackson Hudson, Jr; her grandson Clay Martin; and her brothers, Archie Dudley Rainey and Preston Rainey.
She is survived by: her parent Pearl Gibson Rainey; her children, Mary Jane Hudson, Catherine Martin and Michael Hudson (Lynne); her brother Russell Lewis Rainey; her grandchildren, Jamie Weathersbee, Jered Gillispie, Samantha Martin, Michael Hudson and Michelle Hudson; and her great grandchildren, Isaac Weathersbee and Tuesday Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the North Garden Volunteer Fire Company, 4907 Plank Road, North Garden, VA 22959.
