We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023, at the age of 75, William E. Bernard (Norfolk, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Enoch Bernard and Pennie Bernard; his son Cornelius Johnson; and his brother Enoch Bernard, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Laura Bernard; his brother Paul Bernard; his children, Cynthia Wise, LaTanya Fisher and Brad Flythe; and his sister-in-law Mary Mitchell. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.
