She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin D. Bagwell; her parents, Reita Cornette and Joseph Cornette (Jack); and her stepmother Melva Cornette. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew (Tracy) of Norfolk, VA and Daniel Bagwell of Norfolk, VA; her stepson Andrew Bagwell of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, Justin, Kara and Olivia; and her great grandchildren, Mila, Leo and Cole.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (5033 Rouse Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6309 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
