With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Van Mitchell (Norfolk, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Van shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Van farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Graves Funeral Home (1631 Church St, Norfolk, VA 23504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Calvary Baptist Church (813 Henry St, Norfolk, VA 23504).
