He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Toy Dixon Savage Jr. and Hunter Hankins Savage of Norfolk; his wife Gail Linsly Savage; his sister Tracy G. Savage; his daughters, Caroline (Chris), Ann and Virginia (Fritz); and his grandchildren, Savannah, Thomas, Connor, William and Hayden.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Norfolk Academy (1585 Wesleyan Dr, Norfolk, VA 23502).

Given Toy's love of teaching, contributions in his honor may be made to Norfolk Academy or to an educational institution of your choice.
