He is survived by: his children, Taniya Hayes and Terry Hayes Jr.; his granddaughter Noelle; his siblings, Rufus Hayes (Traci), Keith Hayes (Tawanda), Chris Hayes (Danita), Roy Harris Jr. (Sonja) and Regina Merritt Joyner (Horace); his grandmother Barbara Merritt; and his friend Sharnise Baltzeiger. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, a bonus daughter, and bonus grandson.
