He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shepard and Alberta Shepard. He is survived by: his friends, Keith and Vicki Haskins; his brother Harry; and his nieces and nephews, Rory McCrudden of Cooksville, Elida McCrudden of Big Bear and Janice Segura of Olathe, Kansas..

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Easy Does It Club (1153 Harmony Rd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
