With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby M. Johnson (Norfolk, Virginia), who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walker and Millie Walker; her husband Anthony Johnson; her brothers, Kurt Walker, Robert "Fat Back" Walker, James Walker, Jr. and Alfred Coker; her stepbrothers, Alfred Coker, James Walker, Jr., Robert "Fat Back" Walker and Kurt Walker; her sister Millie L. Fonville; her grandmother Elizabeth Jackson; and her stepmother Sarah Walker.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marion Cuffee (Roland), Thomasine Bailey and Shirley Walker (Robert). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (7246 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
