He was predeceased by: his former wife Stella Dozier; his parents, Linwood Griggs Dozier and Margaret Harris; and his brother Willie Dozier (Joyce). He is survived by: his children, David Henderson (Jean) and Alice Stokely (Chad); his siblings, William Dozier (Betty) and Gladys Meggs (Noel); and his grandson Don Henderson.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Miles Memorial United Methodist Church (9450 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23503). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6309 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
