She was predeceased by: her husband William O. Smith; her parents, Daniel Blount and Mary Blount; and her daughter Connie Collins. She is survived by: her sister Judy Mae Blount; and her children, Rosa Collins of Norfolk, Diane Harris (Phillip) of Sterling, Patricia Hicks (Ralph) of Jacksonville, Florida, Colleen Lamb (Ricardo) of Norfolk and Donaya Ashoka (Sue) of Schertz, Texas.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grand children and 5 great great grand children, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (120 W Berkley Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523).
