He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Cooper and Dorothy Cooper; his brother Brian Cooper; and his grandson Daniel Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Joan Cooper; his children, Christin Byrd (David) of Virginia Beach, Sheri Foster (Buzz) of Norfolk and Anthony Cooper (Robyn) of Palm Harbor, FL; his siblings, Joel, Perry Cooper, Valerie McElvain and Cathy Cooper (Brian); and his grandchildren, Madalyn, Owen Foster, Nicole Byrd and Joel Cooper. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.
