She is survived by: her friend Christian; her husband Bernard of Chesapeake, VA; her sister Margaret Cartwright of Norfolk, VA; her cousin Joyce Myers (Ronald) of Norfolk, VA; her niece Crystal Cartwright of Upper Marlboro, MD; her nephew Eugene Spence (Sophia) of Norfolk; her great-niece Melia Jonas of Upper Marlboro, MD; her stepchildren, Chantelle of Virginia Beach, VA, Tameka of Chesapeake, VA, Lavon (Cheri) of Camden and Jeremy of Virginia Beach; her godchildren, Ronald J. T Myers II (Shambri) of Chesapeake and Shanea Gilchrist; and her siblings-in-law, Darlene Lawrence of Chesapeake, VA, Linda Williams of Virginia Beach, VA and Michael Wilson of Manteo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
