He is survived by: his siblings, Leon, Lewis, Ossie Mae and Sharon; his wife Gladys; his son Bradley; his siblings-in-law, Roland Carey, Margaret Heard, Yvonne Carey (Howard), Alleen Carey and Mary Elaine Carey (Sam); and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Heard (Janice), Gus Blatch, Stephen Kingman (Toneisia), Ramon Carey (Rosalind), Rodney Carey (Denise), Randy Carey, Felicia Blatch Cooper, Taryn Heard, Ashley Heard, Melba Carey Tolbert, Gina Carey Green (Michael), Greta Carey Peoples (John), Monica Allen and Robbie Allen Johnson (Jimmy). He is also survived by cousins, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, bonus sons and daughters, mentees, and friends.
