He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Unger and Bessie Will Unger (Elrod); his wife Anita; his brother Maurice Unger; his parents-in-law, August and Rose Zinkl; and his nephew James Davis III.
He is survived by: his children, Anne-Marie Werner (David), Franklin Unger (Kirsten) and Paul Unger; his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Unger and Dolores Davis (James); and his grandchildren, Graham, Henry, Andrew, Meredith and Marek. He is also survived by six nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Frank's name to the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
