He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Waterfield Sr. and Ray Waterfield Sr.; and his sister Mary Frances Waterfield. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Waterfield; his children, Michelle Waterfield (Dave Hardison) and Ray Waterfield III (Karrie Waterfield); his grandchildren, Christopher, David, Nathaniel, Miranda and Savanah; and his siblings, Frank "Bubba" Waterfield, Diane Ensminger and Helen Foiles-Taylor. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
