She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Ethelbert Daniels and Esta Edna Simpson Daniels; her husband Henry Albert Young, Sr.; her son Henry Albert Young, Jr.; and her siblings, Willie Gert Daniels, Carmichel "Mick" Daniels and Lillie "Doll" Wynonna Gray.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy McGranahan (Johnnie McGranahan); her daughter-in-law Ginger Jones Young; and her grandchildren, John McGranahan (Deanne), Dave McGranahan (Leslie), Aimee McGranahan Shand (Larry), Heather Young Simmons (Vasili) and Henry Albert "Trey" Young III (Tonya). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Heights Fellowship (1251 Kempsville Rd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
