She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Evans and Ambrose Evans, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Alphonza Whitmore Jr.; her sons, Alphonza Whitmore III and Brian E. Whitmore; her grandchildren, Aaliyah R. Whitmore and Sterling E. Whitmore; her sisters, Silowetta Deloatch and Claudenette Evans (Mikki); her mother-in-law Dorothy Whitmore; and her close friend Barabra Harris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (120 W Berkley Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
