She is survived by: her children, Vernon H Shafer, Jr. (Joyce) of Chesapeake, VA, Richard M Shafer (Kathy) of Currituck, NC. and Dian of Florida; her grandchildren, Justin (Melanie), Jordan (Kimberly), Robert (Jennifer), Matthew (Andrea), Keely (David) and Todd (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Zachary, Gavin, Margot, Agustin, Mateo, Julian, Clara, Callum and Angel; and her great great grandchild Ellia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel (8464 Tidewater Dr, Norfolk, VA 23518). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
