It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melachi Lee Wilson in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Lovelace (Jon), Leslie Curlings (Jason), Dewayne Wilson, Tracy Wilson and Christopher Wilson; his grandchildren, Joshua Wilson, Lucas James, Lucy Wilson, Joey Scott, Jacob Curlings, Hunter Johnson and Micheal Johnson; his sisters, Trudy Mamie Wilson and Connie Cone (Rudy); his parents, Alice Wilson and Arrie Wilson (Man); and his sister Margaret Sawyer.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Chapel (1125 Harvey Point Rd, Hertford, NC 27944).
