She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Crunkleton and Catherine Reese Crunkleton; and her husband Phillip Ray Stokes. She is survived by: her children, Lewis Stokes and Anita Peterson (Jim); her grandchildren, Colly Mathews (Brett), Christina Danaher (Shawn) and Ben Grizzard (Miranda); her great grandchildren, Bryce and Raegan Danaher; and her sister-in-law Joy Lynn Herr. She is also survived by one niece and nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home (8464 Tidewater Dr, Norfolk, VA 23518). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (8100 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505).
