As Margaret Jackson departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Margaret Jackson. Though Margaret Jackson may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Richmond and Edith Boyd Jackson; her husband Edward D. Mizelle; and her brother Dallas Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Glysal Mizelle (Karla), Patricia Mizelle, Teresa Mizelle and Debra Harris (Charles); and her brother Donald Jackson. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church (2430 Azalea Garden Rd, Norfolk, VA 23513). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
