She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Grimstead Ferguson (Casey Sr.) of Chesapeake, VA, Lorretta Luster of Waverly, VA, Calvin Smith of Virginia Beach, VA, Terry Smith (Stephanie) of Waverly, VA and Slyvia Eure of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Lamonte Grimstead (Nicole) of Virginia Beach, VA, Darius Connor of Waverly, VA, Alexis Bivens of Waverly, VA, Amekeya Taylor of Waverly, VA and Aaron Ferguson of Virginia Beach, VA; and her siblings, James Brooks Sr., Leon Smith of Waverly, VA, Celestine Grant of Washington, DC, Juanita Revish of Petersburg, VA, Doretha Johnson of Ivor, VA and Sarah Barrow (James) of Waverly, VA.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (7246 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
