She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mary Ballard Cherry, Joe Underwood, Sr. and Hattie P. Gillespie; her father Anthony Antonio Edwards; her grandfather John T. Edwards; and her sister-in-law Iyasha Toyling Edwards.
She is survived by: her mother Vernestine Edwards of Norfolk, VA; and her siblings, Chenita Boykins of Portsmouth, VA, Pamela Edwards of Norfolk, VA, Anthony D. Edwards of Suffolk, VA, Terry Edwards (Alice) of Level Green, PA and Michael Edwards of Norfolk, VA. She is also survived by several uncles, aunts, two nieces, one nephew, one grand nephew, and an abundance of other relatives and wonderful friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (7246 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
